An exciting new addition to this year’s program – the Coffee Symposium “Full of Beans”will take over Rusters, Ubud’s own Bali-chic culinary and creative space. Expect a day of high-powered coffee discussions, covering everything from beans and brewing to cupping and cocktails. Mikael Jasin, winner of the recently held 2024 World Barista Championships and Indonesia’s rock-star coffee maestro will descend on Rusters to talk about beans, from farm to table, and whatever brews in between along with Bali’s leading coffee companies and experts.

Join us for our outstanding series of intimate Open Kitchen Masterclasses in Mozaic’s all-new Chef’s Table dining room. Expect an exclusive up-close-and-personal experience in this glossy designer kitchen with our leading stars. New Zealand’s finest chefs, Nick Honeyman, Zennon Wijlens, and Makoto Tokuyama will share their expertise, as well as, Jakarta’s Aditya Muskita, renowned dessert chef Ardika Tjandra, and Mozaic’s Blake Thornley.

Australian Tex Mex favorites Dingo Ate My Taco and Colombian chef Marcela Arango will showcase their skills in crafting fresh tortillas and serving up delicious dishes like birria and arepas. Locaahands, from Surabaya, will unveil the carefully curated 3-course samplings of the best Surabaya culinary, including their famous slow-cooked Krengsengan Smoked Brisket

Join us at Rumah Kaya at our Festival Hub at Taman Kuliner, for a long-table feast of extraordinary cheeses and discussion presented by local cheese legends, Rosalie Cheese, Mazaraat Artisan Cheese, and TreeNut Cheezery. Korean celebrity chef Kwon Dae Yong will make traditional kimchi and Bali’s premier craft beer producers will host an afternoon beer-tasting session.

Every year, in the tradition of the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, we curate the finest, most pressing, food talks at our sister venue, Indus. In collaboration with Bali Restaurant and Cafe Association (BRCA), the Ubud Food Festival will present a Sustainability Forum on Friday 31 May, bringing together the island’s most impressive changemakers and industry heroes. Click here to explore our Panel Discussion program.
