Misadventure,” this event promises to captivate the audience with a curated selection of beloved opera classics performed by some of Indonesia’s most esteemed classical musicians and singers.
Headlining this enchanting evening are four masterful vocalists who have earned both national and international acclaim: Heny Janawati, Jeremiah Purwoto, Ardelia Padma Sawitri, and Kadek Ari Ananda Putra. These luminaries will be accompanied by the critically acclaimed violinist Giovani Biga and the remarkable pianist and arranger Daniel Adipradhana, whose artistry has crafted the program for this unforgettable night.
Set against the backdrop of Padma Resort Legian, this concert is more than just a musical performance, it is an immersive cultural experience. The program explores themes of love and misadventure, weaving narratives through a captivating blend of arias and ensembles that will resonate with opera aficionados and newcomers alike.

Daniel Adipradhana – A distinguished collaborative pianist, composer, and educator, Daniel holds a Master of Performance with distinction from the Royal College of Music, London. With accolades from international competitions and performances at prestigious venues such as the National Gallery in London, Daniel’s expertise as an arranger and musician guarantees a masterfully curated experience.
Giovani Biga – Recognised as a rising star in Indonesia’s classical music scene, Giovani is a Summa Cum Laude graduate in Violin Performance with an impressive international career. Serving as Concertmaster for major Indonesian orchestras and a laureate of prestigious international competitions, Giovani’s expressive artistry is set to elevate the evening’s performances.Heny Janawati – One of Indonesia’s rare professionally trained opera singers. Heny Janawati is a professionally trained opera singer with degrees in Opera Performance from the University of British
Columbia. She has performed across Europe, North America, and Asia in roles like

Carmen and Ježibaba. Heny is also a vocal coach, adjudicator, and founder of Janawati Academy and artistic director of Surabaya Opera Academy.
Jeremiah Purwoto – From his early success with Indonesia’s renowned Batavia Madrigal Singers to earning his MA in Vocal Performance from the University of York with distinction, Jeremiah brings a wealth of experience from his roles in opera and musical theatre, as well as collaborations with international ensembles. Ardelia Padma Sawitri – A versatile soprano celebrated for her vocal agility and warmth, Ardelia has performed across genres, from Baroque masterpieces to contemporary works. With a Master’s degree from Codarts Conservatorium in the Netherlands, she continues to make her mark in both Indonesia and abroad. Kadek Ari Ananda Putra – A baritone classical singer from Surabaya. He began his musical journey in 2013 and studied under Ega O. Azarya and Joseph Kristanto Pantioso. Kadek has performed with Ananda Sukarlan, the G20 Orchestra, and in operas like Gianni Schicchi, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Carmen. He has won several accolades, including first place in the Tembang Puitik Ananda Sukarlan 2021.
